CLUB DAY

SUNDAY 4th JULY 2010

Gateshead International Stadium

The Barbarians have been awarded a Club Day by Gateshead Thunder, on Sunday, 4, July, 2010

For this day only any child accompanied by an adult, not necessarily related to each other, will be admitted to the professional game between Gateshead Thunder, & Oldham that afternoon, at a cost of £2.50 each.. All they have to do in return is put their name & address on a post card for Gateshead Thunder’s marketing department There will also be events promoting the Barbarians & seeking to raise funds for them. The children will play games on the pitch at half-time, & there is to be a tug of war event.

Programme

1.0    pm-Meet at English Institute of Sport, Gateshead International Stadium

1.05 pm Put name & address on postcard & receive tickets to game

1.15 pm Tour of English Institute of Sport

1.30 pm Tour of Gateshead International Stadium, dressing rooms, tunnel, pitch

2.05 Meet the players & Captain Thunder, the Gateshead Mascot

2.15 pm Bucket Collection and/or raffle

3.00 Kick-off Gateshead Thunder v Oldham

3.40 pm Half-time-Games on pitch/tug of war event

4.40pm Final Whistle

League Talk is an independant talk show about all things Rugby League on NE1fm. Presented by Paul Clayton and Rob Jones, alongside "Sidekick Andy" and Producer Stef, the show goes out live every Monday between 9.00pm and 10.00pm.

The show also has regular interviews wth Gateshead Thunder players and staff, and also covers all the news from the amatuer Rugby League scene in the North East.
