The squad will be announced every Wednesday and positions will be available on match day from your Coach from 1pm. It is your responsibility to see if your in the squad.
The North East Rugby League will be enforcing the "20 player rule" for the 2010 season and all players must be fully registered and insured. Costs £3.00 per game (home or away) Paid befor each game Code of ConductOpen Age Players’ Code of Conduct as at 14, July, 2009 (1) I understand that if I turn up for a game under the influence of alcohol, or any other substance, I will not play in that day’s game (2) I will make my very best efforts to get to training, & games for which I have been selected, & will inform the team secretary if I cannot be present. I understand that if I am absent from training, or a game for which I have been selected, without offering an acceptable reason to the team secretary, in advance of such absence, I may be subject to club sanctions. (3) I understand that smoking is prohibited throughout training, & on game days, from entering the changing room to prepare, to leaving the changing room after the game, & absolutely prohibited when wearing team colours (4) I understand I must show respect to the club, the coaches, & my team mates, at all time (5) I understand that I am still part of the team when on the bench, & undertake to do my best to support the team on the pitch by keeping warm & being ready to play when called upon to do so. I will take water bottle and/or the kicking tee on to the pitch when requested to do so, & do my best to keep my composure throughout, & do my best not to add to the pressure on the pitch. (6) I understand I must turn up to games in team colours, preferably a team polo shirt (7) I understand I must show respect to all other teams’ players, supporters, & officials. (8) I understand I must show respect to match officials, & that only the team captain is authorised to speak to match officials during the course of a game (9) I understand that, on match days, from 1.00 pm until the game is over, the team is a unit. I undertake to remain with my team mates throughout this period, apart from when receiving physiotherapy in preparation for the game (10) I understand that the game is amateur, grassroots sport, & that the key thing is to enjoy playingI understand that by signing this code of conduct of my own free will, I am agreeing to follow & abide by the code in all respects, & that, should I fail to do so, I may be subject to club sanctions, as determined by my team mates &/or the coaching team, commensurate with the rule(s) concerned, & the gravity of the breach 2008 season
