We need help with match day preparations, ie marking pitches out,, checking pitches for unsafe objects (cans, dog mess, glass, etc), putting post protector's up and corner flags. Eligibility CriteriaAvailable to all ages Additional InfoOur opening hours are 9.30 am to noon, on Saturday mornings from the beginning of September each year until the end of the school summer term the following year. We are not open on the weekends on which Christmas & New Year fall, or are adjacent to. Whitley Bay Young People’s Centre
The Centre is managed by Brian Dean, who has held the post since…….The Centre has existed on it’s present site, Rink Way, Hillheads Road, Whitley Bay, NE25 8HR, since the early 1960s. The centre is a registered charity providing various services for children in north Tyneside & beyond. It also caters for other vulnerable &/or community groups via the provision of low cost holiday accommodation
Specific services provided are a Kids Club, a Youth Club, in conjunction with North Tyneside Youth Service, a meeting place for the local MS group, sporting facilities for all age groups from young to elderly, including football & rugby league, martial arts. There is also an extensive computer room, & Hillheads Dog Club meet at the Centre every Sunday |
